Absolutely loved our stay! We were there two nights before we sailed - I wish we had spent a couple weeks! Loved the house, and Pearl and Jonathan were great hosts. They made us welcome and provided lots of tips for local restaurants and things to do.
Their house is lovely. Amazing views, cool breezes, and the pool at night watching the stars was the best.
Thanks for a great home away from home - we hope to come back again.

What a treasure this house was! The layout, the view, the pool, everything was well thought out and wonderful. Jonathan and Pearl were extremely helpful with local information and suggestions of what to do and where to go. We would not hesitate to stay there again. A great big thank you goes out to them for “loaning” their house to us for three nights! Simply magnificent!!!

Fantastic spacious house with stunning views of the Port Elizabeth with all its day to day life and comings and goings. A view you could never get bored of. Up high enough not to be bothered but not out of the way. The port is alive day and night.
The house is immaculate well stocked and so spacious - all bedrooms are large and have en-suites. The open plan living with open doors allow the air to pass through the house day and night.
The island has much to offer and the hosts Jonathan and Pearl are full of knowledge and suggestions. This island is still as it should be with locals enjoying life, so friendly and genuinely happy people. We had a wonderful week here and will certainly recommend the house and island - go and enjoy 🥂

Just want to say I would buy this house in a heartbeat! Everything about this villa was perfect. From many stays in Bequia, we have been accustom to bringing all our products to ensure a comfortable stay. Here, you had everything at your finger tips up to ice and water in the fridge. Yes, still bring your bath soap and toothpaste, but no worries on hand soap and bath towels.
The house keeper was most hospitable giving her cell number to call any time of the day. The house itself is magnificent. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with amazing wall artwork. Every bead has a mosquito net, desk area, closet, and beautiful view.
No issues with water and water pressure, or water shortage. A mini Nights supermarket is just on the corner to the gap up the hill. Major convenience, added bonus. The pool was an added bonus as well, and trust me, you would never want to get out.
Directions was the only problem. To many Nights Supermarket locations and Flow boxes lol. Use your GPS to get to the location.
This had to be one of the best weekends in Bequia we have ever had.
We shall be staying here again, but for longer because you do not want to leave once you get there.

This Airbnb is very spacious with an amazing pool and scenery. The kitchen was perfect to cook and enjoy with friends. This place is perfect for (Hidden by Airbnb) photos! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again!

This is by far the best airbnb I have stayed in.
The hosts Pearl and Jonathan are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. Whenever we needed anything they were very responsive – with everything from grocery shopping to local tips.
The villa itself is beautiful, spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. It is located on the hillside overlooking Port Elizabeth. The view from the villa and pool is amazing. The surrounding area is quiet and safe.
To get there from the port you can either walk, which makes for a good exercise, since the road taking you there is very steep, or take a taxi which will get you there in 5 minutes.
I would definitely want to return to this beautiful place and the marvelous hosts Pearl and Jonathan!

I can't say enough positive about Gingerlilly and the hosts, Pearl & Jonathan. Right from the very beginning, our hosts made us feel comfortable and accommodated our needs. We thought we were going to have to quarantine (turns out we didn't have to) and they went out of their way to get our groceries for us in advance of our arrival.
The place was beautifully cleaned before we arrive. Shirley, the housekeeper, made sure of that. And, when we got to meet her, she was extremely pleasant and helpful.
The accommodation itself, was far better than any description of it and even more beautiful than the photos. It was far more spacious than expected. Each of the four bedrooms is huge and each has a wonderful ensuite bathroom. The mosaics on the walls of each bathroom, and the whale overlooking the pool, are incredible works of art.
The design of the entire structure is outstanding. The Balinese style of architecture allows each room a full view of the glimmering Admiral Bay and Port Elizabeth. The living space - kitchen, dining area and living room all look out to the scenery below. And the living space is huge. When 6 of us were all trying to do our own thing in the kitchen, we had plenty of room.
We had a hard time staying out of the very clean swimming pool that also overlooks the bay. We just wanted to stay in the pool or lounge around in the comfortable chairs around the pool.
That didn't stop us from venturing into Port Elizabeth and other locations in the island. The local restaurants are outstanding. We recommend The Bequia Underground (where we had the best tuna of our lives - and the host, Mike, is a lovely, helpful caring man), Jack's, Mac's Pizza (the lobster pizza is expensive and worth every penny), and all the other restaurants in Port Elizabeth. Bequia has a lot to offer. We also enjoyed roaming in the market (prices are a bit high there) and in the stores of Port Elizabeth. The hosts have wonderful suggestions for things to do.
Some things that guests should be aware of, just so you are not caught unaware:
1. The place is not air conditioned. But it doesn't really need to be. We just simply slept with the windows and shutters open (every room is completely private) and we were provided with mosquito netting. There were a few mosquitos around dusk.
2. Bequia is a dog friendly island. They are all kind and non-aggressive, but they do bark a bit in the middle of the night. Some of our group had a harder time getting used to hearing dogs barking and they would wake up. Perhaps pack some earplugs. On the whole, the island is not as quiet as you might think. Roosters, crickets and frogs also add to the noises. The writer of this review found those sounds comforting, while others in the group were aware of those noises as they slept.
3. Gingerlilly sits on a hillside. There is about 200 metres of incline (around 25-30 degrees, I would guess) to get you up to the villa. Some of us decided to incorporate that climb into our daily exercise. Others felt more comfortable using the local taxi services. I strongly recommend Timothy Sargeant of Tim's Taxi. He was not only extremely likeable, but he was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of his island and country. We kept asking him questions, but we never stumped him. He is also an outstanding model ship builder and you should visit his shop at the bottom of the hill. The hosts have his contact information.
On the whole, Gingerlilly made our trip to St. Vincent and the Grenadines an extremely enjoyable one and we can't wait to get back!

Pearl's place was outstanding. The views were amazing, the villa was spacious, the pool was a great addition. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Pearl's place was amazing for a weekend trip to Bequia. It is exactly as depicted in the listing and then some! Pearl was very responsive and always answered back quickly to any questions that we had. The view is stunning! My group and I can't wait to stay here again!

This place is amazing, more beautiful beyond than my wildest dreams. The house was incredibly clean and gorgeously furnished. Pearl is a wealth of knowledge about the area and met us to provide tips. The house was so incredible and the island was paradise. I can’t wait to go back!

A fantastic place with great facilities and pool, and wonderful views. A short walk down a steep road into town, where there are plenty of restaurants, bars and grocery stores (we particularly enjoyed the Figtree restaurant). Princess Margaret beach is really worth walking to for swimming and relaxing, and its beach bars and Jack's restaurant. Sadly we were only there for three nights, but nevertheless felt right at home and had a great a highly enjoyable stay.

We had an excellent stay at the house. Easy to get to, plenty of space and amazing views. The pool area and covered decks both enjoy great views and breezes from the bay. The bedrooms are organized with bathrooms and plenty of square footage. The housekeeping and greeting staff is great as well. Many thanks.

Excellent accommodation and friendly land lord. From the start it was a great experience - from cold beers and water in the fridge to the pool at the entrance. The space was a lot larger than expected which was a major plus. The view was phenomenal. The open concept idea of the space was a breath of fresh air.. Literally. And the art work was beautiful. The place had everything we needed and more. Five stars.
